Monitoring and travel of British team horses
"All the team horses have undergone extensive monitoring in preparation for the long (36 hour) flight to Sydney. This includes weight monitoring using the William Bedell Mobile Horse Weigh Supreme Platform, also a combination of blood tests, and clinical examinations including endoscoping, scanning and soundness assessments.
The horses all travelled well to Sydney and have just completed their on site quarantine at Horsley Park, the venue for all equestrian events. The careful health and weight monitoring has continued during their quarantine in Australia to make sure that they are at their peak of fitness when they compete."
